GreenUp is the 2024-2027 strategic program of Veolia designed to accelerate ecological transformation.
As part of Veolia Group, our mission is focused on the deployment of water treatment solutions that help our customers depollute, decarbonize, and regenerate and reuse resources.
Our strategic program 2024 - 2027
The challenge of water availability and safety is not only a concern for the distant future — it is an immediate, pressing issue demanding attention today.
As a result, water technologies is an official booster within Veolia’s GreenUp strategic program 2024 - 2027.
As the global water technology experts of Veolia, water always has been and always will be our priority.
With GreenUp, our mission is supported by an extra two billion euro investment — which we are already utilizing to create the water treatment and process solutions of tomorrow.
We do this by ensuring industries and communities alike are safeguarded, efficient and resilient by meeting their industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, ultrapure water, pollution treatment and drinking water needs.
At the heart of Veolia’s GreenUp strategic program, there are three strategic boosters: local energy and bioenergies, hazardous waste treatment, and our water technologies and new solutions business.
As part of the GreenUp strategic program, we have set specific objectives which are fundamental to achieving ecological transformation.
Decarbonization

We help decarbonize industry by providing sustainable solutions and products, optimizing operations and turning wastewater into an affordable, clean energy source.

Through the rapid implementation of solutions and substantial investments in both technological advancements and social initiatives, Veolia is establishing itself as a pivotal force in shaping a more sustainable world for future generations.

“The ecological issue that our customers frequently ask about is access to safe, clean water. For many, the challenge of water availability is not only a concern for the distant future — it is an immediate, pressing issue demanding attention today. We have strengthened our mobilization and made it our responsibility to our customers to deliver on both performance and sustainability without compromise.”
